History of Shuster's
In 1950, Anthony J. “Tony”
Shuster, Sr. founded Shuster’s Building Components. Our company was
founded on three principals: provide excellent customer service,
utilize the best materials available, and employ the top craftsmen
to manufacture our product. Any deviation from these “Shuster
Standards” is and was seen to be a betrayal of ourselves, our
employees, and the customers we serve. These family values are
upheld today as SBC is entering its third generation of family
ownership.
Located in Irwin, Pennsylvania
since our inception our company has grown to the point of a massive
five acre complex. With our company owned fleet of twenty tractors
and over thirty trailers we service all or part of seven states and
our customer base is over one-thousand dealers.
Leveraging technology and using
some of the industries best practices SBC can manufacture over two
thousand door units in a single day. Our computerized
equipment ensures great accuracy and pre-hung doors from start to
finish in under a minute. Using these same principals with our
customer service has made SBC the most accessible, most
knowledgeable, and most detailed millwork sales group in our trading
area.
Partnering only with the millwork
industry’s finest manufactures that meet our “Shuster’s Standards”
our customers are guaranteed to be purchasing a product that will
endure. Value added services are unparalleled at Shuster’s as well.
SBC invests into stocking items that are not typical with other
distributors. With Shuster’s stocking hard to find heights,
widths, species, designs, and types SBC will potentially turn the
two month project into a two week project. On any pre-hung millwork
item you are also able to offer the “Finishing Touch” pre-finished
program that will add a straight from the factory finish in twenty
plus paint colors and ten plus stain colors!
Shuster’s Building Components will
continue to rely on our principals while making sure we are
continuing to set a higher bar for wholesale millwork
distribution. The Shuster refusal to accept anything less than
the best has made Shuster’s Building Components the market
standard for millwork products.
